When are you going to support CalmRadio in a manner similar to other "internet radios"? If you aren't, why not?

Hello,

At this time CalmRadio is not an available service with Sonos, nor have we announced plans for this particular service at this time; however, this is a great feature request that I'm sure others are curious about as well! We will set this topic as an Idea so that others, like yourself, can also vote to see this implemented.

Please feel free to contact us with any other questions, issues, or suggestions you may have in the future!

Sam Dominique,
Thank you for your responsea. However there are problems with using Calmradio in its present form on the Sonos .

Calmradio as it is broadcast on the Sonos contains commercials for Calmradio membership and is "broadcast" in Calmradio's lowest fidelity level. There are two higher levels available Furthermore, Calmradio's web site has a mixer which you can mix certain sounds with music for sleep purposes.
Since I have tinnitus, I would like to use the Sonos to help me sleep. There are about 100 channels of music on Calmradio. Putting the mixer aside, to use Calmradio in its commercial free form on the Sonos I need to copy a channels' URL into the Sonos. This gets very cumbersome.

Interestingly enough, in Calmradio's response to a similar inquiry they indicated they plan to be on the Sonos in a similar manner to other services in a year.

Thanks again
Al

I also would like to see Calm Radio on the list of services on Sonos. That's the only improvement that I can see my Sonos needs. Calm Radio is a great service and my Sonos is flawless. Together, they would be AWESOME!!! Thank you....Cameron

There is a notice on the main home page of calmradio.com that indicates that Sonos will be adding the Calm Radio app for release on October 18, 2013. I have yet to see anything on Sonos website indicating support of Calm Radio. Can Sonos confirm?

Okay. When is the Calm Radio app going to be ready? I love Sonos and would love it even more with Calm Radio stations accessible without having to copy urls.

On the Calm Radio site, where it USED to say Oct. 18, it now says 'upcoming'. What's the holdup, I wonder? I left a query on the Sonos Facebook page as well. Let's get 'er done...please?

Calm Radio is now on Sonos!!!  It's in beta, so you need to go to the "Sonos Labs" section of the "more music" area.  So happy!  Thank you, Sonos....and Calm Radio!
