Unable to control Sonos system from my iPad

The controller on my iPad is no longer able to see my Sonos system. I have reset and re-installed the controller application and it still does not see the system.

I have a bridge, connect amp, Play 3 and 2 Play 5 speakers. I have tried paring from all of them.

I am still able to control the system from my iPhone.

What else can I do?

Hi Bola,

I am sorry that you're having an issue with your SONOS Players and Controllers connecting. On the iPad can you please try the following steps please. Make sure you have the information to sign on to your wireless network if secured.

On the iPad can you please try the following steps:

1. Go to Settings, Wi-Fi, and your network's name click on the blue circle with the white arrow on the right
2. Click on Forget this Network
3. Reconnect to your network again
4. Try to open the Sonos Controller Application again please and try to use it again.

If you're still having issues then reboot the wireless router from power for 15 seconds and then plug the router back into power. When the router is booted back up try the SONOS Controller again please. Let me know what happens.

I tried this and it worked!! All I need to do now is get Sonos to refund the cost of my Sonos controller that is now a non touch screen, why won't they just accept their product has a design fault.

Hi
I'm in NZ so can we communicate by emails?
I will be in Denmark in July so can return the controller for refund / replacement / repair (in that order of preference) if it helps.

This is a great conversation that's separate from the main topic, so I created a new topic to continue the discussion. Please reference the new topic here: Issue with SONOS Control
