I am really sorry for this. I have 6 zones and all product are white. I will not buy any black subs but I would buy some whites. A strange decision in my view.

+1 for a white sub. Can't buy a black one when all my other components are white. Maybe if you made a black bridge then I could start again from scratch in black, boo...

subs aren't supposed to be noticeable in a room so I'm guessing the reason for black is so it fades into the background rather than being obvious.

Well, if all other products are white and the walls also are white then the black sub will becom most obvious. Still waiting....

I have just been taking advantage of the super offer from Hifi Klubben, Denmark, to loane any Sonos products free of charge for 14 days. Had a sub play with my Zone Player 100 with B&W speakers. The Sonos sub easily outperformed my already quite good sub from HarboSound. It was more "tight", more precise and had more punch.

However the Sonos sub was Black. All my other Sonos players are white. My present sub is white. My US imported hi-gloss metal CD/DVD cabinets are white.....etc. etc. The wife absolutely did not accept a black sub in this setup - so the sub went back to the store today.

WILL BUY WHITE SUB ON DAY OF RELEASE!

I was very surprised to notice that only black sub is available. What is the reasons for not offering a white version, since you already offers these two colors .

In my kitchen I have built-in white B&W speakers in the ceiling, and a high gloss white environment. A black sub will be like painting one of your front teeth in black. Regards Frank in Norway.

This is such a no brainer. I am a Sonos retailer and in the Miami market have ZERO use for a black sub. All the designers want white.

Agreed - everyone I know buys the sonos kit in white. I cant buy until you get a white version as wife wont allow black. Spoke to a number of retailers and they say most customers want white. Why would you bother coming up with variations of black, matt black, gloss black, black with strips etc etc. Try white!!!

:)

My Play5s, Play3, connect, bridge all white. I won't get sign off until white is available.

Please consider making the sub in a white version to match the white Play3's and Play5's!

I'm ok with the Playbar being black as it's designed to be placed above or below a TV (and they are usually black).

The sub however doesn't need to stand out like a sore thumb in the living room (even though the design is perhaps the best one out there)...

I'll buy a white one on the day of release as well!

I have two all-white rooms and Sonos white play5 has pride of place there. No way can I buy the sonos sub for these rooms though I have wanted to from launch. That's 2 more sales just like that. Surely this is a no-brainier for Sonos? Younare already set-up to produce a white finish for your other products.

My wife went into a store to buy me a sub for christmas, as every Sonos component is white in our house she naturally thought it came in white. Looks like I'm getting socks again this christmas!, come on Sonos make my christmas, make the sub in snowy white,

I'm really annoyed the company is not taking care of its customers. I have spent over £1000 on white Sonos gear and want a sub to match, what's the point in having a range of white components which is only half complete?! Also a white sub will blend in nicely against my white walls, I don't want an ugly black thing that stands out like a sore thumb. If Sonos are listening, as soon as a white sub is released I promise to buy one but until then.......

Will buy a sub matte or white, but not the ugly glossy one. Thanks.

Yes, I too will buy the white on the release day. Will not however buy the black one since all walls and surrounding furniture are white (or others colors not matching black)

I agree with everyone. All my Sonos components are in white. I will definitely wait for a white sub.

Dear Sonos,

I have noted that you don't plan to bring a white sub out to compliment all the purchases like myself and others of white equipment. Could you then please advise how many number units that you would require to make a production run to make it viable to yourselves and the people like myself that won't purchase a black sub, ever unless their is the option of white.....?

SONOS, the status is NOT PLANNED - why are you so inflexible and customer unfriendly?

Agree on the white sub request. Have a wired white sub now but would certainly consider a sonos version
